Smoke billowed Tuesday morning from a mobile home at 7132 Belfast Drive at Lake Brownwood.  It was 10:06 am when fire departments from Brownwood, Lake Brownwood Bridge and Early responded.

Also on scene was Brown County Emergency Management Coordinator Darrell Johnston who spoke with KOXE News.

“Upon arrival they found a mobile home about half way involved in fire.  No one was in the residence at the time.  We’re still waiting on the owners to show up.  It’s going to be probably at least a 50% loss.”

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
