A man wanted by Early Police, and who had escaped capture since Saturday night, was taken into custody Tuesday morning in Runnels County, according to Early Police Chief David Mercer. In a statement from Chief Mercer:
“Ryan Graham has turned himself in to the Runnels County Sheriff’s Office on the warrant from Early PD for Evading arrest or detention. Brown County Sheriff’s office has other charges pending that they will serve on Graham. The stolen vehicle has not been located at this time.”
Ryan Christopher Graham of Menard had been wanted since first being reported as a reckless driver in the 1100 block of Early Blvd on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm. According to Early Police, he led Brownwood, Brown County, DPS and Game Wardens on a pursuit to western Brown County. After crashing his vehicle on County Road 196, Graham fled on foot into a pasture and managed to avoid capture until Tuesday morning.
