According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, a felony case was recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court.
In the case of Octavian Marshawn Carlton, also known as Octevian M. Carlton Torrez, also known as Octavian Torrez, also known as Octavian Marshawn Torrez, he pled guilty to the felony offenses of Aggravated Robbery- Deadly Weapon and Burglary of a Habitation with Commission of Felony and was sentenced to Twenty (20) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
In addition, he pled guilty to the felony offenses of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animal and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
