The Brown County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls on Monday and Wednesday of this week.
On Monday, March 8 Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to CR 291. This was in regard to animal carcasses being discarded in a creek bed. There are no suspects to list.
On Wednesday, March 10 at approximately 7:46 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to CR 265, just off FM 45, in Brownwood. This was in reference to some damage to a high fence.
On Wednesday, March 10 at approximately 9:36 a.m. Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to CR 152 in Brownwood. This was in reference to a theft report and investigation.
On Wednesday, March 10 at 11:55 a.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover responded to CR 180 near Bangs. This was in reference to a renter’s home being burglarized, as well as criminal mischief to the property. After further investigation a report was made.
