Statement from BISD:

With temperatures still below freezing, our campuses are experiencing maintenance issues. Unfortunately, these will continue to unfold as temperatures rise.

On Friday, February 19, school is canceled. There are no remote expectations.

Teaching and campus support staff will not report to work. Campus administration and central administration will report to work by 1:00 pm to assess their areas and provide a report to maintenance. Campus and central support administrative assistants do not have to report. Personnel who receive printed paychecks can pick them up from Central Support Center from 11:00 – 1:00. Direct deposits will deposit as usual; however, wage and earning statements will be delayed.

Meals for students will be served again at Brownwood High School from 12:30 – 2:00 on Friday.
