The following statement is from Brown County Judge, Dr. Paul Lilly:
Due to the fact that many of our employees have not had power or water in days, combined with the fact that our servers could be damaged if we lose power while they are operating, we will remain closed one more day, today, Wednesday, February 17th. Lastly, the local school districts have also closed to help keep traffic reduced and to reduce the electric demand. We will also be good stewards of the community and help save the very limited power available in the state. If you must venture out, please be as safe as possible. We cherish each and every one of you.
