The City of Brownwood posted the following on its Facebook page Tuesday afternoon: Atmos Energy has contacted the City of Brownwood asking for an urgent reduction in energy use.  Demand for natural gas continues to be at unprecedented levels. Please continue to conserve energy to help maintain natural gas service for our critical human needs customers.
