Daily Update:
On February 5, 2021, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 6 positive COVID-19 test results, 0 negative, and 40 recoveries. Of the 6 positives,  0were PCR, and 6 were antigen. There are currently 12 hospitalized in Brown County and 126 active cases. Two deaths were reported: one female in her 60s, and one female in her 70s, neither from nursing facilities. 

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 1,820 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 598 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.

Brown County ended the week (2/5/2021) with an addition of 81 new cases from the previous week.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue Monday, February 8th, through Friday, February 12th from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
