Railroad employees discovered a body Monday morning near the Vine Street underpass, just south of the tracks and west of the underpass in a grassy area.  Brownwood Police were notified a few minutes before 9 o’clock Monday morning.

According to Lt. Troy Carroll of the Criminal Investigation Division, the 55 year old Brownwood man is believed to have died of natural causes. There was no criminal activity and he had not been hit by a train, Carroll said.
