Thursday, December 10, the Texas Department of Transportation will reduce traffic to one lane in a small portion of the roadway at the southern end of Austin Avenue to complete a striping project.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane from Hillcrest Drive to Phillips Drive.  A pilot car will assist motorists through the work zone.  Crews will begin the closure at 8:30 AM and work is expected to be completed by 5 PM.

Please use another route if possible to avoid any possible delays.  Motorists are reminded to slow their speed, use caution and pay attention to road signs while driving through the work zone.
