The Brownwood City Council will meet Tuesday, November 10, at 9:00 am at City Hall.  The posted agenda is below.

S. Introductions, Announcements, and Recognitions
A. Recognize Cary Perrin for her service to Keep Brownwood Beautiful and introduce Pilar Roy.

6. Citizen Presentations
Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Consider adopting a new City of Brownwood logo.

10. Ordinances and Resolutions
A. Consider an ordinance on first reading approving the FY 2019/2020 budget amendments.
B. Consider an ordinance on second and third/final reading changing the zoning classification of the property located along Longhorn Drive and Mustang Drive, from R-1 single family residential district to C-1 local business district.

11. Bids
A. Consider awarding a bid for the construction and addition to Fire Station #2.

12. Consent Agenda
A. Consider an ordinance on second and third/final reading that prohibits alcohol and overnight stays at the Lednicky Rest Stop located on E. Commerce.

A. COVID-19 Update
B. Budgetary Control Report for end of year.

14. Executive Session:
The City Council may convene into a closed executive session in the Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

Section 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney
A. Parks and Recreation and Community Facilities Department Head vacancy.
B. Legal issues regarding the Lifeguard Ambulance contract.

15. Action as a result of Executive Session
A. Council will reconvene into Regular Session in the Council Chambers to take any action deemed necessary as a result of the Executive Session.
B. Council may consider a resolution ratifying the three year extension of the Lifeguard Ambulance contract and authorizing the payment of a prorate portion of the subsidy paid to Lifeguard.
