Brown County Commissioners Agenda for Monday Meeting

Brown County Commissioners will meet Monday, November 9, at 9:00 am in the Brown County Courthouse.  The agenda is below.

2. Prayer- Mark Towns – Pastor of First Baptist Church
3. Citizen Comments (All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on August 12, 2019. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.)
4. Consideration and approval of the minutes from the October 26th, 2020 and November 2, 2020 meeting.
5. Consideration and approval of any Treasurer’s/ Auditor’s Report.
6. Consideration and approval of payment of any bills needed.
7. Consideration and approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:

A. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;
B. Lisa Dick, Administrator, Brownwood-Brown County Health Department-Update on COVID19 response and County health initiatives. (Spon p2)
C. Vance Hill, Sheriff- – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding employee changes in the Sheriff’s Department. (Spon CJ)
D. Vance Hill, Sheriff- – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding authorization for the Sheriff to accept donations. (Spon CJ)
E. Vance Hill, Sheriff- – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding authorization for the opening of sealed RFP’s for inmate phone system. (Span CJ)
F. Judge Ellis/Nita Richardson – Consideration and possible action, and approval of 2021 Indigent Defense Agreement/Contract with TechShare for Brown County’s continued participation with Indigent Defense. (Spon CJ)
