Brown Co. Commissioners Agenda Posted for Monday Meeting

Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 am Monday, August 24, in Commissioner’s Courtroom on the first floor of the Brown County Courthouse.  The agenda is below.

1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
2. Prayer
3. Judge Lilly- Dr. Jack Marx’s Proclamation

4. Citizen Comments

5. Consideration and approval of minutes of the Workshop minutes for August 14th, 2020 and minutes from the Commissioners Court and Budget Workshop of the August 17th
6. Consideration and approval of any Treasurer’s/ Auditor’s Report.
7. Consideration and approval of payment of any bills needed.

8. Consideration and approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:

D. Jennifer Robison, Auditor, Consideration and possible approval of action to vote to propose a tax rate for publication purposes. (Spon CJ)
E. Lisa Dick, Administrator, Brownwood-Brown County Health Department-Update on COVID 19 response and County health initiatives (Spon Pct.2)
F. Darrell Johnston, Emergency Management Coordinator- Consideration and possible approval of action regarding the purchase of 3 backpack and 4 portable handheld sprayers to be used on County properties and vehicles for disinfecting per CDC COVID-19 guidelines. (Spon, CJ)
G. Darrell Johnston, Emergency Management Coordinator- Consideration and possible approval of action regarding permission to request County fuel/ Service truck to be available as an on-call resource to provide fuel for fire department vehicles during prolonged wildfire events or other county emergency responses.(Spon, CJ)
