According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, a felony case was recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.

Joseph Edwin Brandt, on probation for the felony offenses Robbery and Evading Arrest and was sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Further, Brandt, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Theft-Aggregated was revoked and sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
