The most recent calls for service for the Brown County Sheriff’s Department are as follows:

On June 29 Deputy Toby Mathis responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on David Street.  It was determined that a woman assaulted her mother and sister.  The suspect was placed in custody to prevent further acts of family violence, charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence and Assault Class C Family Violence.

On June 30, Deputy Toby Mathis assisted in picking up a female subject who reported that a named male had pushed her down, causing injury.  This occurred on Jane Ellen Street.
