Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will begin widening portions of south FM 2524 (Austin Avenue) on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, weather permitting. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, July 3.

Crews will be widening shoulders at intersections from Brooks to FM 2126. Traffic should not be impacted as one lane in each direction of traffic will remain open during this construction.  Motorists are asked to use caution and slow their speed in work zones.
