On Sunday, May 24, 2020, Leonard Robert “Bob” Hayes, loving husband and father of two sons, left this earth and joined his wife on the streets of Glory. He was 85 years old.

He is survived by sons, Rickey Lenn “Rick” Hayes of Brownwood, and Robert Randall “Randy” Hayes and wife Sheri of Whitney;  three granddaughters, Nicole Gowan of Keller, Alisa Hayes of Brownwood, and Chelsei Vigil of Waco; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Hauser, Hayden Hauser, Elijah Key, and Madison Vigil; and one sister,  Lorna Owens of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was also blessed with a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
