Saturday, May 4, is election day. Brownwood has two running for a City Council position. The City of Early will choose a Mayor. The City of Bangs will choose a City Councilman. Comanche will elect a Mayor and City Council members. Coleman will elect a Mayor. Blanket and Bangs vote on propositions to use local sales and use tax to improve city streets.
Polls will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm in each jurisdiction. In Brown County, locations are as follows:
- City of Brownwood – Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk
- City of Early – Business complex at 104 Industrial Drive
- City of Bangs – Bangs Community Center at 406 Spencer
- City of Blanket – First United Methodist Church at 517 Main.
