Deputies respond to domestic call with possible gun involvement

• A deputy was assigned a call for service at the law enforcement center. A complainant stated he agreed to sell a vehicle to another male, who made a down payment, one payment but has not made any further attempts to pay. The male is also refusing to return the vehicle.
• Theft by phone for theft of property, more than $2,500, less than $30,000, a state jail felony.
• A deputy met with a male on County Road 180 regarding an animal complaint. The male admitting to shooting a neighbor’s dog, because he believed the dog was going to kill his goats.
• Deputies were dispatched to an address on Shawnee Dr. regarding a domestic assault with a gun involved. A male was at his ex-girlfriend’s house when he got into verbal altercations with other family members. According to the male, another male on scene drew a pistol. It has not been confirmed that a gun was involved and no injuries were reported.
• Deputies were dispatched to an address on W. Main Blvd. regarding several subjects attempting to break into a home. A male stated he observed several Hispanic males trying to enter his daughter’s travel trailer, which located directly behind the residence. The subjects left the area before deputies arrived on scene.
