A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of Fort Worth Ave. in reference to a domestic disturbance. Hector Javier Castaneda was arrested for burglary with intent to commit assault and criminal mischief, more than $100, less than $750. Castaneda has arrests in Brown County dating back to April, 2007.

In other incidents:

• Devin Brumbelow was arrested for evading arrest/detention and assault causing bodily injury
• Officers responded to the 700 block of Almond St. regarding a hit and run.

• Halloween evening, officers responded to the 3300 block of Austin for a traffic collision. During the investigation, it was discovered that the driver responsible fled the scene.

• An officer met with a complainant at the law enforcement center in reference to the theft. It was stated a new customer was acquired who failed to pay for a product totaling more than $13,000.
