The Brown County Museum of History shared the following information Friday:
The Brown County Museum of History is thrilled to let our friends know that our second annual fundraising gala, “Victory at Last,” celebrating Camp Bowie and the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II is coming in September.
Get ready to travel back to 1945. Catch the excitement of VE and VJ Day. Dress in patriotic, military, or 1940s style. Plan to enjoy a delicious dinner, Big Band music and dancing, drinks, raffles, and fun.
Brig. Gen. (ret.) Dan and Mrs. Cynthia Locker, longtime friends of the Museum, have graciously agreed to serve as honorary chairs. We will also honor all servicemen and women for their service to our country.
Mark your calendars and plan to join us. Tables will go on sale soon. Please contact Kyndall Howard to secure your spot!
All funds raised will benefit Children’s Educational Programming at the Museum.
