Brownwood Independent School District (BISD) is announcing an opportunity for community members to apply for the vacant Place 6 position on the BISD Board of Trustees. This position will be filled on an interim basis until the next scheduled election in November 2025.
To assist in the selection process, BISD has developed a questionnaire for interested candidates. The questionnaire is designed to provide insight into applicants’ backgrounds, motivations, and potential contributions to the district. Responses will be shared with all current Board members for review.
The questionnaire is now available on the BISD website at https://www.brownwoodisd.org/bmq6. Completed questionnaires should be submitted to Krista Behler at krista.behler@brownwoodisd.org no later than April 24, 2025. Hand-delivered submissions will also be accepted.
