Brown County Grand Jury Indictments for March 2025

According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, during the March 2025 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 13 true bills were returned against 11 persons.

Those indicted were:

  • Steven Wayne Peacock Jr.: Injury to a child
  • Rodney Martin Caulkins: Cruelty to non-livestock animals
  • Kevin Muckleroy: Continous violence against the family
  • Jacob L. Baumguardner: Injury to a child; Assault family violence-occlusion
  • Abraham Dancy: Felon in posession of a firearm repeat offender
  • Brayden Laine Blackburn: Ct. I Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; Ct. II Vehicle Involved in Accident-Injury, failure to stop and render aid
  • Jeffery Wayne Allen: Unauthorized use of a vehicle
  • Jason Jamal Jefferson: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Brandon Valdez: Possession of a controlled substance-drug free zone
  • James Michael Bailey: Driving while intoxicated 3rd repeat/habitual offender
  • Meghan Gray Turner aka Meghan Gray: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Cody Dean Davis: Driving while intoxicated 3rd repeat offender habitual offender
  • David Lynn Seward: Possession of a controlled substance

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest. In addition, names of individuals who have had no formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the District Attorney’s Office at this time.
