
Discover the world of transportation at the Martin and Frances Lehnis Railroad Museum’s FREE Wheels that Move the World event happening on March 15th! Explore a variety of vehicles, from police cruisers and fire trucks to locomotives. Talk to the experts who operate them – police officers, firefighters, soldiers, and more – and learn how these vehicles play a vital role in our daily lives. Enjoy food trucks, shop with local vendors, and a take a ride on our mini locomotive!
- 20+ Participating Organizations showcasing equipment, various displays, demonstrations, and vehicle tours.
- Free admission to museum: Explore the railroad history of Brownwood, Central Texas, and the American Southwest. Exhibits include a variety of railroad memorabilia and equipment, photos and stories of early railroads while vividly interpreting the importance of the railroad to this area and American life.
- Food trucks will be serving up a variety of tasty treats to satisfy every craving.
- Market Vendors: Offering unique finds, homemade goods and products for purchase
- Car Show: in additional to equipment and large machines a car show will be on display!
- Activities: Face painting, balloon art, outdoor yard games and a bounce house will also be available all day!
- Live music: The Remedy from 12pm to 2 pm on the Event Center side stage, creating an electric atmosphere.
