
The metal canopy overhanging Circle V BBQ was uplifted Tuesday due to the strong west winds effecting most of Central and West Texas.
As of noon Tuesday, the National Weather Service was reporting 33 mph west winds and gusts up to 47 mph. Brownwood and the surrounding area continues to be under a High Wind Warning until 7 p.m., as as well as a Blowing Dust Advisory until 6 p.m.
Winds of 35-45 mph are expected, with gusts up 65 mph, the rest of the day, and visibility is likely to be between a quarter-mile and one mile due to the blowing dust from West Texas.
