CASA in the Heart of Texas is proud to announce the official swearing-in of four new CASA Volunteer Advocates who will join our mission to support and advocate for children and families in need. This morning, the new volunteers took their oath of service before 35th District Judge Mike Smith.

The newest CASA Volunteer Advocates are:

  • Cristin Vargas
  • Lauren Glenn
  • Sandra Geise
  • Jennifer Schroeder

These dedicated individuals are stepping up to provide a voice for vulnerable children, ensuring they are heard and supported throughout their journey. CASA Advocates play a vital role in our community, standing up for those who might not have a voice of their own, and helping create a brighter future for the children and families they serve.

“We are incredibly grateful for the commitment of our new CASA Volunteer Advocates,” said Beth Loftis, Executive Director of CASA in the Heart of Texas. “Their passion for justice and their unwavering dedication will have a profound impact on the lives of the children and families in our community. Together, we are making a difference.”

The work of CASA Volunteer Advocates is crucial in ensuring that every child has the opportunity for a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. These volunteers will advocate for the best interests of children in foster care, providing critical support during a time of crisis and helping to navigate the complex systems of care.

Please join us in welcoming Cristin, Lauren, Sandra, and Jennifer to the CASA family. We look forward to the incredible work they will do in our community.
