
ABILENE – Competing in their second meet of the spring, the Brownwood Lady Lions track and field team earned their second team championship, winning the McMurry Relays in Abilene Saturday.
The Lady Lions finished with 147.5 points, outdistancing runner-up Midland Legacy’s total of 117. The JV Lady Lions also won their portion of the meet with 190 points.
In boys competition, the varsity Lions came in 12th place with 12 points while the JV Lions were third in their draw with 93 points.
