Ada M. Whitted, age 93, of May, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, March 5, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A graveside service for Ada will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, March 6, at Zephyr Cemetery.

Ada was born on February 13, 1932 in Priddy to Gertrude and Frank Wilder. After receiving her GED, she attended community college where she received several certifications in keyboarding. She worked in bookkeeping for Hood and numerous other counties for many years. Ada enjoyed tending flowers, sewing, quilting, oil painting, and an occasional cold Corona with her family. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, and attended several Lutheran Churches in various areas in which she resided. Ada married Roy Whitted on November 8, 1997 and they were happily married until he passed in 2004.

Ada is survived by her children, Dianna Lynn Thomas, Dennis Schumann Thomas, and Winston H. Thomas; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Whitted; her parents; and children, Brent Thomas and Karen Thomas.
