Sandra Dell (Vogel) Bullard age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 20th, 2025. Her family will host a visitation at 1 PM on Saturday, March 1st at Heartland Funeral Home in Early prior to Funeral Services at 2 PM in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.

Sandra loved the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church in Early for many years. Sandra was born in Brownwood, Texas on January 17th, 1940 to parents Woodie O’Dell Vogel and Dorothy Helen (Parton) Vogel.

Sandra attended Brownwood schools where she was a Brownwood Lions cheerleader and voted Most Beautiful by her classmates. She met and married Billy Bullard in 1956 and together they had three children, Bill Bullard Jr., Mike Bullard and Kellye Bullard. Sandra graduated Central Texas Commercial College and continued using her skills throughout her career with the USDA Pecan Field Station until she retired after 27 years of dedicated service.

Sandra loved to travel from camping trips with family to many places within and outside of the United States including; Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, Scotland and the Bahamas. Sandra was also an avid bowler, from bowling on leagues with Billy where they won first place during the middle of an earthquake while in California to bowling with leagues in Brownwood for many years.

Sandra was a talented artist leaving behind many beautiful paintings. Her creativity expanded into “magically” making any costume out of what she had in her closet. Whether her costumes were for her parties with “The Red Hat” ladies or with her local bunko group, they were always a hit!

Her favorite title in life was “Nana” to Brittny, Mika, Cody and Brady. During stays at Nana’s you could count on her Famous Fried Chicken, loads of laughter with the games of Chicken foot, ice-cream cones, movies, shopping and playing with cousins. Nana used her creative talents in making scrapbooks for her grandkids that were amazingly creative and detailed. Her love for her family had no bounds and cherished being with her family. Nana’s title expanded when she was blessed with four bonus grandkids and even more blessed when she became a great grandmother!

Left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Kellye Bullard and her children Brady Woods, Brittny and Chris Case and son Jackson; her son Mike and Judy Bullard and children Mika and Wayland Damron, daughters Emma and Maggie; Cody and Morgan Bullard and children Dayton and Allene; Monica and Will Parker and daughter Ami; Kamee and Larry Jamison and daughters Sienna and Kaeli; Cody and Katie Bailey and children Cole, Ella and Ardyn; and Mitchell and Cate Bailey, sisters Helen Kay Hamil, Pam Hamil and Sabrina Spielman and close brother-in-law and dear sister-in-laws.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father; her mother and step-father, Ben Carriger; her husband Billy Bullard Sr., her son Bill Bullard Jr.; sisters Barbara nell Vogel and Linda Stanbury; many close brother-in-laws and dear sister-in-laws.
