Christopher “Chris” Kroll, age 64, of Brady, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at his residence in Brady, Texas. Chris was born on October 26, 1960, to Lloyd Thomas Kroll and Evelyn Edna (Jahns) Kroll in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Houston and graduated from Aldine High School. He married Tammy Colbert on August 20, 1988 in Houston. Chris worked as a machine operator for JMC Plastics for several years before purchasing the Lost Arrow Ranch, a game ranch in Brady in 2001 and moving to Brady in 2004. His biggest passion was the outdoors. He enjoyed Big Game Hunting. He only hunted with a “long bow” or a “recurve bow,” both of which he was very proficient at. Another passion of Chris’ was motocross motorcycle racing. He was a highly active racer on most of the tracks across central Texas. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and loved being called Pa Pa.
Funeral services for Chris Kroll will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Reverend Cody Dykes officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, prior to the service from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels. Chris Kroll is survived by his father, Lloyd Kroll of Brady, Texas; son Davey Kroll and wife Kaitlyn of Brady, Texas; brothers Michael Kroll and wife Marlo of Humble, Texas and Johnny Kroll and wife Elaine of Katy, Texas; his grandson Davey Cooper Kroll; and several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and wife Tammy.
