Howard Payne University will host the third annual Robnett Founders Dinner on Thursday, March 27, in the new Brownwood Events Center. The annual event allows members of the HPU family to come together to honor an individual or group who has made a significant impact on HPU. All proceeds from the dinner will support student scholarships.
This year, the Dr. John D. Robnett Founders Award will be presented to the Central Texas J.R. Beadel Foundation, Inc. The generosity of the Central Texas J.R. Beadel Foundation has provided for campus improvements to many capital projects, including the Newbury Family Welcome Center and the Douglas MacArthur Academy of Freedom. In addition, numerous students have benefited from scholarships awarded and funds provided for the campus nurses’ office.
“The values of the Central Texas J.R. Beadel Foundation align with who we are at HPU and we are so grateful for the significant investment they have made at our university,” said Dr. Cory Hines, university president. “It is a blessing to recognize the impact the foundation has made in the lives of countless students and the overall infrastructure of our campus.”
Several sponsorship opportunities are available for the dinner. General sponsorship levels include Gold Sponsor – $5,000; Silver Sponsor – $2,500; and Navy Sponsor – $1,250. Additional opportunities are available for Presenting Sponsor – $75,000; Award Sponsor – $35,000; and Platinum Sponsor – $20,000.
“We are excited about the opportunity for individuals and businesses to come alongside the university through this meaningful event,” said Dr. Dale Meinecke, vice president for advancement. “It has been wonderful to see how the Robnett Founders Dinner has grown over the last three years and the investment into the lives of students that is made possible through the combined generosity of HPU supporters.”
