FORT WORTH – The Brownwood Lady Lions snapped out of their offensive slump and remained undefeated on the road with a 9-0 victory at Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis Friday.
The Lady Lions (9-2), who established a new season-high in goals, have outscored their foes 46-1 on the road, while being outscored 3-0 in two home matches.
Against Diamond Hill-Jarvis, Braycee Lee and Isabella Garza recorded two goals apiece while Jacklyn Lewis, Khloe Galvan, Joclyn Salazar, Kynlie Lewis and Sidney Adkins also found the net.
Alma Bernal and Nixon Johnson each contributed two assists while Adrianna Allen, Madison Weckwerth and Jacklyn Lewis notched one apiece.
Noemi Ceniceros tallied the shutout in goal.
The Lady Lions are back at home at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday as they welcome Alvarado.
