Debra Kay Lockhart Martin, 65 of Brownwood passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in Abilene. Her family will host a visitation Friday, January 24th from 6 to 8:00 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, January 25th at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.

Debra was born on October 18, 1959 to Don Harley and Wilma Faye Lockhart in Big Spring, Texas. Debra graduated from Coahoma High School in 1978. She married Keith Dewitt Martin on January 30, 1983 in Midland, Texas and there they began a life together that blessed them with 2 daughters, Kayla and Brandi.

Debra worked as the Office Manager at Ranch Supply Company in Odessa, Texas for 20 plus years. She worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Judge & Commissioners Court for Crane County for 18 years before retiring in January of 2018. She and Keith moved to Lake Brownwood shortly thereafter, where the girls followed close behind. She was known by all for her loving heart, always putting others before herself, and spoiling her grandkids. She lived her life firm in her faith as a member of Austin Avenue Church of Christ in Brownwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don Harley Lockhart and Wilma Faye Lockhart-Doss.

Debra is survived by her husband of almost 42 years, Keith Martin; her daughters, Kayla Williamson and husband Chris, Brandi Klutts and husband Tom; 7 grandchildren, Cambry, Harper Faye and Tyler Williamson, Dee, Kason, Ladon and Brynlee Klutts.
