Brownwood ISD issued the following information Monday morning:
This month’s spotlight teacher is Misty Hill. Ms. Hill is a Pre-K teacher at Northwest Elementary. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University where she studied Psychology, Sociology, and Special Education. She is a state-certified teacher in Core Subjects (Grades 6-12) and Special Education (EC-12), and she has been with Brownwood ISD for 3 years.
Ms. Hill is an incredible teacher who puts her young learners first ensuring they understand each day’s lesson. In her class she comes up with ideas and materials that will help each child learn in a way that will stick in their growing minds. It’s truly amazing to watch her teach and to see how excited her students are when they grasp new concepts.
Brownwood ISD is proud to have outstanding educators like Ms. Hill, who go the extra mile to foster the growth and success of our students.
Our staff spotlight honoree for the month is Bea Fanning. Ms. Fanning serves as the secretary at East Elementary and has been a dedicated member of the Brownwood ISD family for an impressive 26 years. She studied at South Plains College and continues to bring a wealth of experience and professionalism to her role.
Ms. Fanning exemplifies the values of Compassion, Confidence, and Commitment at East Elementary, where her warm greetings and helpful demeanor create a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, and staff alike. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the smooth operation of the office, managing multiple responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and grace. It is clear that she takes immense pride in contributing to the school’s success and fostering a sense of community. Her solutionoriented mindset and calm, approachable nature make her an indispensable part of the school community.
