According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, during the December 2024 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 29 true bills were returned against 28 persons.
Those indicted were:
- Catherine Ann Southerland aka Ann Southerland: Driving while intoxicated
- Richard Wayne Humphries: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver – drug free zone, repeat offender
- Brandon Wayne Horton: Possession of a controlled substance repeat offender/habitual offender
- Christopher Dale Blake: Possession of a controlled substance
- Leroy Rico Williams aka Leroy Williams: Prohibited substances or items in correctional facility repeat offender/habitual offender
- Freddy Brown aka Freddy Brown Jr.: Possession of a controlled substance state jail felony enhancement; Unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon
- Sydney Cornelius: Possession of a controlled substance
- Miguel Mantos: Possession of a controlled substance – drug free zone
- Brandon Don Carmack: Possession of a controlled substance
- Andrew Eugene Bradshaw: Possession of a controlled substance state jail felony enhancement
- Joseph Bates: Retaliation repeat offender
- Landon James Calhoon aka Landon Calhoon: Criminal mischief repeat offender/habitual offender
- Josh Eugene Clark: Possession of a controlled substance
- Wesley Clark: Possession of a controlled substance
- Brayan-Odair Vega-Aguilar: Possession of a controlled substance
- Elizabeth Kirven: Possession of a controlled substance
- James Wesley Herman Jr. aka James Wesley Herman: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon repeat offender
- Justin Robert Garrett: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
- Richard Clay Stanley: Driving while intoxicated
- Brandon Stevens: Ct. 1 Continuous sexual abuse of a child; Ct. II Aggravated sexual abuse of a child; Ct. III Indecency with a child—contact
The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.
The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest. In addition, names of individuals who have had no formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the District Attorney’s Office at this time.
