Lions snap two-game skid with 68-53 road victory over Brady

BRADY – The Brownwood Lions brought a two-game losing streak to an end with a 68-53 victory at Brady Friday evening.

The Lions (12-6), coming off losses to Burnet and San Angelo Lake View, led Brady by a 16-15 count after one period, 31-30 at halftime, and 48-42 heading to the fourth quarter.

Casey Friebel scored a team-high 21 points for Brownwood trailed by Ross Strasner with 18, Elias Perez and Durham Brown with eight apiece, Weston Wolf with six, Noah Pyle with five, and Bennett Windham with two points.

The Lions are off until Thursday when they open the TexasBank Holiday Classic against the Early Longhorns at 6:40 p.m. at Warren Gym.
