SAN ANGELO – The Brownwood Lady Lions secured their most lopsided victory of the season Tuesday night, as they collected a 65-10 road victory over San Angelo Lake View.
The Lady Lions (12-6) led 13-0 after one quarter, 31-7 at halftime and 49-9 heading into the fourth period.
Trinity Roberts scored a game-high 17 points trailed by 12 from Icess Hall, 11 from Nylah Hall, eight from Lanie Johnson, six from Cassidy Brown, four from Miranda Northcutt, three from Jade Morin and two points from Hannah Deen.
Brownwood shot 39 percent (25 of 64) from the field, 27 percent (5 of 18) from the three-point arc, and 55 percent (10 of 18) at the free throw line. The Lady Lions also committed just eight turnovers, recorded 25 steals and pulled down 37 rebounds, with 19 coming on the offensive end.
The Lady Lions play their final game prior to the TexasBank Holiday Classic Friday afternoon at Brady.
Also Tuesday night, the JV Lady Lions handed Lake View a 40-0 defeat.
