Nine sentences handed down in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

  • James Allen pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Shimika Shantell Martinez, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was revoked and sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Xavier Anthony Garza pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Donnie Lee Massey, on probation for the felony offense of Injury to a Child, was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jason Brown, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated, was revoked and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Brown, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger, was revoked and sentenced to 20 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Donald W. Barron, on probation for the felony offense of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Requirement, was revoked and sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Richard Bryan White, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Colton James Mitchell, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 9 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Victoria Davis pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
