The Texas Department of Public Safety on Monday morning released the following information regarding a fatality accident on FM 3021, 7 miles northwest of Brownwood, that took place just before 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.

According to the DPS report, a 2012 Harley Davidson FLH motorcycle driven by Andrew Peternell Vidovich II, 35, of Christoval, was traveling west on FM 3021 when the driver veered off the road, throwing both the driver and passenger, 35-year-old Marti Jolene Vidovich of Christoval, from the motorcycle.

Andrew Peternell Vidovich II found to be intoxicated, was arrested and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter, then taken to the Brown County Jail after being transported to Hendrick Medical Center-Brownwood with non-incapacitating injuries.

Both occupants of the motorcycle were wearing helmets, the weather conditions were clear and the road was dry.
