The bonfire will be held on Wednesday, 10/30 at the Bert Massey Sports Complex with free food and beverages served from 6:30-7:00pm, and the event starting at 7:00pm.

This exciting gathering will not only ignite our team’s spirit, but also provide a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and show support for our players, cheerleaders, Lionettes, and the BHS band. The evening will feature:

A roaring bonfire to fire up our community as we rally behind our Lions

FREE food and refreshments available to fuel our enthusiasm

Performances by the Lionettes, cheer and the BHS band, all showcasing their talents and school spirit

Prayer and a word from Pastor Todd Gray and a fiery speech by former Brownwood Lion and City Councilmember Draco Miller, Jr.

“We want to create an unforgettable experience for our students, families, and the entire Brownwood community” said Matt Noe, President of the Brownwood Lion QB Club.

“Events like this come together when we come together as a community. We are grateful to the Lions Mother’s Club for their partnership in co-hosting this year’s bonfire pep rally. We are so blessed to have a supportive community and we want to thank the Hall’s and Sonic Drive In for their continued support, the Tailgate Crew for cooking up food for everyone, Roland Soto and the City of Brownwood, and our speakers Todd Gray and Draco Miller, Jr.

This special event is a great way to unite our community in support of our Lions as they prepare for this important district contest, so come out and show your Lions pride!”

Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend and show their support. Bring your friends, family, and anyone who loves our Brownwood Lions! Let’s make this event a memorable night filled with school spirit and camaraderie.
