Carolyn Everett Webb, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 6, 2024, in Cedar Park, Texas. Born on October 13, 1933, in Valentine, Texas, Carolyn lived a life dedicated to her family and crafted many memories filled with love and joy.

Carolyn’s early years were spent in Valentine, where she graduated from Valentine High School and later pursued further education at Texas Tech University. Throughout her professional career, she worked tirelessly as a secretary for the highway department and several physician offices, ultimately retiring from Electronic Data Systems. Her strong work ethic and commitment to her roles reflected her dedication and resilience.

In 1952, Carolyn married the love of her life, Thomas Joseph “Joe” Webb, beginning a partnership that would bring forth three wonderful sons: Thomas Joseph Webb, Jr., Gene Barnett Webb, and Richard Hayden Webb. Together with Joe, Carolyn instilled values of love and compassion in their family, creating a nurturing environment where their three sons thrived.

Carolyn was truly a loving and giving person who adored her family immensely. Her greatest passion was the time spent with them, frequently traveling to visit her beloved grandchildren. She cherished those moments, adding to a legacy filled with laughter and camaraderie. In addition to being a devoted mother, she also took great pride in being a grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy.

Outside of family engagements, Carolyn found solace in reading books and solving crossword puzzles, activities that brought her peace and stimulation. She embraced life with a joyful spirit and an adventurous heart, especially when it came to exploring new places alongside Joe. Carolyn was a member of the First Methodist Church in Coleman, a volunteer for the Coleman County Ladies Auxiliary, and the Red Hats Society.

Carolyn is survived by her three sons, Thomas Joseph Webb, Jr., Gene Barnett Webb and wife Michelle, and Richard Hayden Webb; along with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who will carry her love forward.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Noel Everett and Edith Barnett Everett; her husband, Joe Webb; one sister, Billie McDonald; and two brothers, Bob Everett and Jim Everett.
