Kevin Lee Smith, age 66, of May, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Funeral services for Kevin will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 5, at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church in Brownwood. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the funeral service. 

Kevin was born on August 13, 1958, in Lubbock to Jim Bob and Fay Smith. He married the love of his life, Sandee, on January 19, 1980, in Stinnett, Texas. Kevin graduated from Dallas Baptist University, in 1996, with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences Degree. He was employed by Intuit, Inc., for many years.

Kevin was an active member at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church where he enjoyed church-related ministry and activities, especially with the JOY Sunday School class. He also enjoyed history and Ham Radio.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Sandee Smith; his two sons, Michael Smith and wife Jessica of Midlothian, Jason Smith of May; five grandchildren, Dianna, Evelyn, Noah, Benjamin and Jonah Smith; his mother, Fay Smith; his brother, Robby Smith and wife Traci of Lubbock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Bob Smith and his sister, Jana Smith.
