The Brownwood Car Seat Check-up and Resource Fair will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at Big Country Ford, located at 500 West Commerce.

During the Car Seat Check-up Event, certified technicians will:

• provide instructions on correctly placing a child in a child safety seat
• assist parents and caregivers with installation of their child safety seat
• offer tips on child’s safety seat based on their child’s age, height and weight
• ensure that the child’s safety seat has not been recalled or expired
