Tommy Smith, born on June 11, 1994, in San Angelo, Texas, passed away on September 4, 2024, in Coleman, Texas. He was a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, whose lively spirit and zest for touched the hearts of many.
Tommy was known for his passion for building and dedicated a period of his career to Bolton Construction. His love for creating things was matched only by his enthusiasm for life, which made him the life of the party. Gatherings with family and friends were always filled with joy and laughter, as Tommy found immense happiness in spending quality time with those he loved. He was committed to living life to the fullest, consistently striving to ensure everyone around him had a good time.
In addition to his career, Tommy had a variety of hobbies that reflected his dynamic personality. He was an avid MMA fighter and took great pride in maintaining his fitness. Many fond memories are held in the hearts of those who shared moments with him, enjoying both his competitive spirit and camaraderie.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Julia Smith and her husband Jeff Wolf of Coleman; his father, Gary Smith of Elk City, Oklahoma; his sister, Candace Lucas and her husband Eric of Coleman; and three nephews, E.J. Lucas, Chase Lucas, and Mason Lucas, of Coleman. He also leaves behind his beloved grandfather, Everett Smith of Elk City, Oklahoma; one stepsister, Melissa Reed of Coleman; a supportive network of aunts and uncles, including Tracy Ball and husband Jesse, Jaime Thompson, Gene Evans, Jesse Evans, Dale Evans, David Wilkins, Tommy Brown, and Samantha Smith; as well as cousins, Lauren Garcia, Edward “Boy” Garcia, Camryn Norris, Michael Norris, Ian Norris, Jacey Cassard, Jenna Cassard, and Joey Cassard.
Tommy’s vibrant personality and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate within the hearts of his family and friends.
