Brown County United Way is hosting it’s first golf tournament, presented by United Supermarkets, Friday, Sept. 13 at the Brownwood County Club. The 4-person scramble will feature a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Registration will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Brown County United Way works year round to raise funds to give grants to local nonprofits that serve Brown County in the areas of education, healthcare, and income stability.
Payouts include $1,000 to the first place team, $500 for second place, $200 for seventh and 14th place, $100 for the longest drive and closest to the pin.
All proceeds from the tournament go to fund the programs of our 14 (soon to be up to 17) partner agencies.
Sponsorships are available from $100 – $1,500.
