The City of Early issued the following press release Thursday:

The City of Early is thrilled to announce the first annual “Early, TX’s Night Out,” an evening dedicated to celebrating our vibrant community and the dedicated individuals who keep us safe. This inaugural event will be held on October 1, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Early Town Center, and we invite all residents to join us for a night of fun, food, and festivities.

The Texas 4H Center will be on hand to host various engaging games and activities, ensuring that there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Good Samaritan Ministries will be joining us, handing out candy for the kids and giving away gift certificates to their resale store. Plus, don’t forget to participate in the Tuna Challenge to support the Good Samaritan Ministry’s Food Pantry! For every 20 cans of tuna you donate, you’ll receive a gift certificate, and if you bring 50 cans, you’ll earn an exclusive t-shirt. Whether you’re a child or simply young at heart, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to laugh, play, and connect with your neighbors.

To make the evening even more special, attendees can savor a complimentary hot dog meal while supplies last. United Supermarkets, Walmart, Brookshire’s, Humphrey Pete’s Restaurant, and La Botana Mexican Grill made this possible thanks to the support of local businesses. HTeaO will provide refreshing ice-cold water throughout the event to keep everyone cool and hydrated. As seating is limited, we encourage everyone to bring their chairs and settle in for a night of community togetherness.

One of the highlights of “Early, TX’s Night Out” is the opportunity to meet and interact with the first responders who serve our community with dedication and bravery. Hosted by the Early Police Department, Early Fire Department, and passionate Early residents, this event is your chance to shake hands with the men and women who work tirelessly to ensure our safety. It’s a moment to express our collective gratitude and learn more about their critical roles in our daily lives.

Mark your calendars and bring your family and friends to the Early Town Center on October 1. To register to attend or for more information, please visit https://earlytx.net/400/NationalNight-Out. We can’t wait to see you there!
