Festival organizers from the City of Brownwood have unveiled Wednesday a new lineup featuring acclaimed BBQ pitmasters and smokehouses that have been selected to participate in the inaugural Feels Like Home Festival, kicking off this fall on Saturday, October 19. Continuing its showcase of true Texas culture, Feels Like Home Festival brings more than just music to center stage. Now, festival-goers will have the opportunity to explore a carefully curated selection of craft barbecue joints, all of which are based in the Lone Star State.
Pitmasters from each of these acclaimed eateries will bring their unique flair to the festival, ensuring an unforgettable Texas BBQ experience for hungry attendees:

Beyond these mouthwatering food options, Feels Like Home Festival at its core is meant to serve as a new annual celebration of music and community that captures the spirit of rural Texas while celebrating the unique charm and warmth of Brownwood.
Chart-topping country music trio Midland has been tapped to headline the inaugural fest, alongside Texas favorites Casey Donahew and Micky and the Motorcars; and rising stars like Tyler Halverson and Hudson Westbrook all gracing the festival main stage.
Between the combination of authentic Texas barbecue, incredible musical performances from some of country music’s finest, and engaging fan activities intended for guests of all ages, Feels Like Home Festival has become one of Texas’ must-attend events this fall season.
Organizers hope to provide residents with incredible performances from some of today’s most sought-after country music acts set to the backdrop of Brownwood’s brand new top-of-the-line Brownwood Event Center while providing a positive and substantial economic impact on the surrounding community.
