The Brown County’s Sheriff Office posted information on social media Wednesday regarding a SCAM notice being sent via text from a phone number from the San Antonio area. They are leaving a voice call to individuals, identifying themselves, as the BCSO Warrants Division. They are notifying an individual that they are showing a Warrant for their Arrest as a Witness in a Civil Action. This is a SCAM. Do not do as instructed.
