Margaret Moseley

Margaret Ann Moseley, age 82, passed away on June 30, 2024. Margaret was born August 23, 1941 in Lamesa, Texas to William and Easter Walker. She went to school at Pecos High School and graduated from there. Margaret married Dalton Moseley on April 20, 1962 in Pecos, Texas and they began a life together that blessed them with 2 sons, Dennis and Dale.

Margaret was a very giving, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family. And during her life on earth, she was very involved at First Baptist Church in Pecos, Texas, especially with the youth department. In her later years she was a loyal church member of First Baptist Church, Early Texas and later Bethel Baptist Church in Zephyr, TX.

She loved a good flea market and was always looking for a bargain. She was so giving she would literally give you the shirt off her back. In her later years she was a loving caregiver for her mother and then her sister. Anytime she was with her family she loved to sing old country songs and gospel hymns. She was ready to sing at any given moment. She had a wonderful life with her husband Dalton Moseley. Before he passed, they went on several cruises with their friends and lived life to the fullest. After Dalton passed, she lived 6 more years at their home in Zephyr on the farm. And then her last 2 years were spent in assisted living at the Chatfield in Brownwood, Texas. She loved everyone there and was a blessing and a friend to all. The staff and residents at Chatfield were instrumental in helping her sustain a very rich and blessed life. She will be missed here on this earth but she is now in heaven where she has already met her Savior, Jesus. Also, she is probably riding around on the new John Deere gator that she and Dalton have in heaven, and singing a gospel hymn. They are together again, healthy, whole and in the presence of the One Who created them.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Moseley (and wife Deanna) of Blanket, TX; son, Dale Moseley (and wife Stacey) of The Woodlands, TX: granddaughter, Taylor Moseley of the Woodlands, TX; grandson, Cameron Moseley of San Angelo, TX; grandson, Casey Moseley of Early, TX; grandson, Dee Moseley of Tulsa, OK; brother, Dickey Walker of Las Cruces, NM; brother, Jim Walker of Hernandez, NM

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Moseley; her father, William Dennis Walker and mother, Easter May Walker; her brother, Eugene Walker and sister, Mary Walker.
