Estevan Frias, Jr. otherwise known as Stevie, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the age of 30. Stevie was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1994 in Fort Worth, Texas to Estevan Frias and Belinda Garcia Frias. He attended and graduated from Bangs High School.

Stevie found enjoyment in the simple things. One of his greatest joys was watching the Dallas Cowboys play. He also enjoyed going to the Brownwood Lions football games. Stevie loved working out, but especially showing off on how many pushups he could do.

Stevie suffered a long hard battle with Huntington’s Disease. There is comfort in knowing that he is now healed and no longer suffering.

Left to cherish his memory are his grandmother, Jeannette Bloomberg and husband Darrell of Brownwood; uncle, Jake Garcia and wife LeeAnn of Brownwood and uncle, Justin Garcia of Brownwood; aunts Jackie Conley and husband Anthony of Crowley and Diana Rangel and husband John of Brownwood; nieces, Dezirae Gracia of Brownwood and Analie Gonzalez of Fort Worth; nephew Alex Gonzalez of Fort Worth; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Belinda Garcia Frias; grandfather, Efrain B. Garcia “Wimpy”; sister, Darlene Frias; great grandparents, Rosa Esquivel and Efrain Garcia Sr.; aunt, Christy Garcia; uncles, Efrain Garcia III and James Garcia.
